Beijing's landfills are getting full fast! Reduce the "trash" you throw away by purchasing products with minimal packaging. Look for reusable, recyclable, and biodegrable items and remember to carry your reusable shopping bags!

By the end of this weekend the results from the GtB survey we conducted over the last month will go out for final review.

From my analysis so far, it became clear that there's still some confusion about the purpose, function, and overall goals of Greening the Beige.

Green Energy @ ShiFen Theater Festival 2010

The ShiFen Theater festival is a showcase of varied performances, delivered in 10-minute short and sweet measures each.

Will Beijing’s Blue Skies Turn Gray This Year?

In a presentation before Beijing’s municipal legislature Monday, Mayor Guo Jinlong said that this year’s target for days with good or excellent air quality will be 73%. That works out to 266 days—19 days below the actual number of 285 so-called “blue skies” reached last year.
