The Qingming holiday weekend is the official start of Spring for us. Come out for some fresh air and blue sky and help us support the elderly residents of Mutianyu. Hidden poverty of old folks is an important social issue here as it is in depopulating rural areas throughout China and, indeed, around the world.

What about the routes for riding? We've selected three guided routes ranging from short and easy (and suitable for families with kids) to much longer and more challenging. In addition there will be a route for real pros.

Don't have a bike of your own? Not to worry, rental bikes are available if you sign up in advance.

Need a ride from town and back home for you and your bike? Again, not to worry, rides have been set up.

Everything starts and finishes at the Roadhouse. There will be food, drink, and live music waiting at the Roadhouse when riders return. And we'll have a lucky draw and auction off prizes and vouchers with 100 percent of the proceeds going toward programs for the elderly in our village.
